FROM THE FIELD

Behind the Scenes of Our Project in Bali

Pakun Gallery began in a small garage on the outskirts of Denpasar, where Pakun Adi—an architecture graduate and son of a carpenter—began designing custom furniture for his closest friends.

Starting with a single dining table and a few wall shelves, Pakun's work became known for its meticulous detailing, selection of local materials, and a design approach that prioritized function. Over time, demand expanded—from furniture, to interiors, and then to full-fledged architectural and construction projects.

Pakun Gallery has since evolved into an integrated design and construction studio that combines creative approaches, building techniques, and the local Balinese spirit in all its work.

2018

Starting from the Home Garage

Pakun Adi started a small business in his garage in Denpasar, making custom furniture from local wood for relatives and neighbors. He did everything himself—from design to production to delivery

2022

Officially Becomes an Interior Design Studio

Demand grew. Pakun Gallery officially transformed into a professional interior design studio, handling residential and small villa projects in the Ubud and Sanur areas. The focus shifted to functional work rooted in Balinese local character.

2023

Expansion into Architecture & Construction

Recognizing the needs of clients seeking comprehensive services, Pakun Gallery began handling architectural design and construction projects. Collaborations with field teams and consultants began to be established to ensure a more integrated project flow.

2024

Solid Team, Commercial Projects Coming In

Pakun formed a more comprehensive in-house team—designers, architects, and project supervisors. This year, commercial projects such as cafes, art galleries, and rental villas began to appear as clients.
